Mr. Steve Ferro is the director of athletics, assistant coach of the Varsity Basketball Team, and moderator of the Eagles Nest Club at Immaculate Heart Academy. He has been in education as both a teacher and a coach for more than 30 years.

Mr. Ferro brought a vast amount of experience to IHA, having taught students in elementary, middle, and high school as a special education and middle school science teacher. He has coached boys and girls soccer, basketball, and spring track & field. Mr. Ferro received a bachelor’s degree from Marist College and a master’s degree from the University of St. Mary. 

As IHA’s director of athletics, Mr. Ferro is proud to utilize his expertise and knowledge to help student-athletes find success and build confidence. He continues to take his experience to the next level by enhancing the athletic program’s growth and ensuring continued success.
