Academic Curriculum

Immaculate Heart Academy offers an extensive curriculum that fosters intellectual growth, creative curiosity, and a sense of values that prepare students for college and beyond. Our curriculum challenges students with an increasing level of difficulty each year as we offer a wide range of courses at different academic levels. In addition to our College Prep (CP) and College Prep Enriched (CPE) courses, IHA also offers Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as dual-enrollment college credit courses.

Students have the opportunity to enroll in 27 AP courses which prepare them for the Advanced Placement tests: Art History, Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Comparative Government and Politics, Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, Cybersecurity, Economics, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Environmental Science, European History, French Language and Culture, Italian Language and Culture, Latin, Physics 1, Physics C, Pre-Calculus, Psychology, Seminar, Spanish Language and Culture, Statistics, Studio Art, US Government and Politics, and US History.

College credit is given based on the student’s performance on these examinations.
