The Arts Department is committed to upholding both the traditional values of the Church and the academic excellence of Immaculate Heart Academy, and seeks to develop in our students:

• Understanding of the methods, techniques, and styles that are fundamental to the visual & performing arts

• Appreciation of the visual and performing arts as universal expressions of the human creative spirit, as well as specific products of individual cultures

• Recognition of the arts as an expression of and communication with the sacred

• Ability to use the visual and performing arts as creative expression, communication of ideas, and service to the community

Each year, the Arts Department at IHA performs a concert and art show in the spring and also right before Christmas. Talented students in our numerous art classes display their impressive artwork, followed by an entertaining concert featuring our incredible singers and musicians in IHA’s Choral Ensemble, Voices, and IHA’s Music Ensemble Orchestra.
