Health Services and Requirements
At Immaculate Heart Academy, we believe that a student’s overall health plays a critical role in her success in school. Our health office offers services and support to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of each student.
Students accepting admission to Immaculate Heart Academy are responsible for meeting all state and school medical requirements.
These requirements include:
1. A copy of the student’s immunization record
2. An annual summer physical examination
-
All students must have a Physical Examination between May 1 and September 1.
-
Fall athletes must complete the Physical Exam by August 1. All athletes must also submit the required Medical Eligibility Form each season.
If a student is in need of a physical exam between those dates, they are able to schedule a low-cost exam with a school affiliated provider at Holy Name/Pfisterer Orthopedics. Please call Lori Garb for more information at 201-836-1663. (When contacting the office, please mention that you are an IHA student calling to schedule a physical exam).
If you have any questions regarding the Medical Admissions Requirements of Immaculate Heart Academy, please contact the school nurse, Mrs. Nicole Keller St-Onge ’06, B.S.N., R.N., with any questions or concerns at 201.445.6800, ext. 129 or nstonge@ihanj.com.
