Mrs. Juliet (McKinley) Montalbano ’01 is an English and theatre arts teacher at Immaculate Heart Academy, as well as coordinator of the performing arts. After graduating from IHA in 2001, Mrs. Montalbano earned a B.A. in theatre directing from Fordham University at Lincoln Center and a Master of Arts in Teaching (English) at Montclair State University.

Mrs. Montalbano taught English and theatre arts for a decade at Glen Rock High School, during which time she advised the GRHS Theatre Company.  She shared her passion for both performance and production by running a director’s lab, leading a playwriting workshop, working as a stage manager for high school musicals, and, most of all, directing over thirty productions. Mrs. Montalbano is currently the assistant coordinator at Park Players, a summer youth theatre program at her local community school.

Mrs. Montalbano is excited to return to her alma mater as both a teacher and the coordinator of the performing arts and said, “I am grateful to be back at IHA, where I can assist our incredible students in finding their voice in the classroom and on the stage. I know that IHA fosters an environment where students can pursue their passions, and I’m thrilled to share my love of theatre with the entire community.”
