Mrs. Helen DeMartini is the Science Department chairperson and Model UN moderator at IHA. She received a B.S. degree in biology from Hofstra University and an M.S.Ed. degree in secondary education biology from City University of New York. After teaching in the New York City public schools for ten years, Mrs. DeMartini said she always looks forward to an exciting year of science with the wonderful young women at IHA.

Mrs. DeMartini has two daughters who graduated from IHA. Her Blue Eagles are from the Class of 2021 and 2023.
