Ms. Diana Fasano is the head coach of the IHA Varsity Softball Team. She graduated from IHA in 2000 and played softball at Fairfield University, where she received a B.A. in sociology with a minor in American studies and secondary education in 2004. She received her master’s in high incidence disabilities from Kean University in 2009 and her master’s in educational leadership in 2020 from American College of Education. 

 

Coach Fasano began her coaching career in 2005 at Saint Peter’s College in Jersey City. She coached middle school softball at Kawameeh Middle School and joined IHA as an assistant coach of the Softball Team in 2009. She started in her current role as head coach of the IHA Softball Team in 2016. Coach Fasano’s dedication to IHA athletics is highlighted by the numerous League, County, and State championships she has been part of for IHA Softball. She was named Bergen County Coach of the Year in 2016. 

 

Ms. Fasano is a special education teacher at Kawameeh Middle School in the Township of Union, where she teaches science.
