Big Sister/Little Sister Day

It was a heartwarming display of sisterhood on October 14, 2026, as IHA celebrated one of its favorite traditions!

The annual Big Sister/Little Sister Day brought together every grade level for games, sweet treats, and bonding time.

Juniors, moderated by Ms. Ana Echeverría P’05, and freshmen, moderated by Mrs. Tara Maka ’02, participated in a volleyball game in the gym and enjoyed cupcakes made by our very own Ryann Cenicola ‘28, who owns her own small business called The Cupcake Bar. A special thank you to Ryann and also Chloe Caruso ’28, who decorated a banner for the cupcake treat with her own business, Signed by Chlo. Seniors, moderated by Mrs. Liz Kearns, and sophomores, moderated by Ms. Jessica Whelan ’13, enjoyed ice cream from Ice Cream Creations.

As always, the sisters decorated each other’s lockers and brought gifts to share with one another. Thank you to the class moderators and faculty/staff volunteers who helped to organize the day for all of the big and little sisters!
