Immaculate Heart Academy is proud to announce that seven seniors were recently named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit® Scholarship Program, which honors individual students who show exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Congratulations to Kristina Ahn, Elizabeth Cetina, Elysia Chae, Keira Collins, Juliet Fisher, Gina Ha, and Madeline Schlereth.

More than 1.3 million juniors in about 20,000 high schools entered the 72nd annual National Merit Scholarship ​Program by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). Approximately 34,000 of the 50,000 top scorers in each annual National Merit® Scholarship Program are named Commended Students based on a national Selection Index qualifying score. This year, the score was 208.
