North Jersey Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Zoey Orlando ’28 on being named the North Jersey Female Athlete of the Week in May 2026.

According to northjersey.com, “ At the Bergen Meet of Champions … Orlando ran a personal-best 11.84 in the 100 meters — the second-fastest time in New Jersey this season and quick enough to break a 24-year-old meet record. Around 45 minutes later, she repeated as the county champ in the 200 in 24.88. By doubling up on gold on May 20, she became the first girl to win both sprint titles in nine years.” This incredible achievement ultimately led Zoey to being named the North Jersey Female Athlete of the Week.

We are so proud of Zoey and all that she has accomplished with IHA Track and Field. She is currently the Non-Public A Outdoor State 100 meters champion, the Non-Public A Indoor State 55 meters champion, and holds several IHA records!
