Q3 National Honor Society Awards
Each quarter, IHA’s National Honor Society presents awards to students representing the four pillars of the society: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. For the third quarter of the 2025-26 academic year, congratulations are extended to the following seniors (standing left to right in group photo):
Scholarship: Gabrielle Rivera — Gabrielle is the embodiment of an IHA scholar as she demonstrates her strong dedication to academic excellence every day. She is a member of the National Honor Society and takes her responsibility for other students seriously by tutoring her peers. She strives for excellence in her classes, including the very difficult ones she takes on. Gabrielle is also a member of the rigorous STEM program and will be graduating as a STEM scholar. Her hard work and scholarly excellence define everything she sets her mind to.
Leadership: Clare Wenzke — Claire is an excellent example of leadership at IHA through her work with DECA. She is not only the president of the club, but Claire has also qualified for the International Career Development Conference for DECA members two years in a row. Clare is also a leader in the classroom, as she works tremendously hard to succeed in her rigorous courses. She can always be seen helping classmates when they need assistance.
Service: Kathleen Hahn — Kathleen demonstrates a strong commitment to service and has participated in numerous service opportunities both inside and outside of IHA. Specifically, Kathleen spent her spring break on a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France, where she volunteered as a youth group participant in an international Easter celebration for individuals with special needs. Kathleen truly is a kind and loving soul who is always willing to help others in times of need.
Character: Giara Gonzalez — Giara has a magnetic personality that exudes her kind and welcoming character. She consistently carries a smile on her face, a positive attitude, and will always greet you with a warm “hello!” in the halls. Her uplifting spirit carries through the many activities she participates in, including her membership on the Varsity Basketball Team and the Varsity Flag Football Team. She welcomes new members to the IHA community with open arms and is always willing to make a new friend. Giara truly models the positive and strong character that personifies what it means to be an IHA student.
