Immaculate Heart Academy finished the 2025 season with a 24-2 record, winning both the League and its fourth Bergen County Championship in four years, making Bergen County history. The team finished fifth in the state with its two losses occurring during the state championship programs. IHA’s offense had 37 home runs on the season, with 14 triples and 37 doubles. The IHA pitching staff had a combined ERA of 1.67 and 10 shutouts. The team outscored their opponents by over 150 runs, 215- 57. Katelyn Mikros and Gianna Muliero both achieved 100 career hits this year. Gabriella Shadek broke NJ state history in home runs with 49. Additionally, Gabriella was named the fourth IHA softball player to earn the Gatorade Player of the Year honors. Also notable this year, the Softball Team raised $19,000 for Tackle Kids Cancer in the name of the late Coach Anthony LaRezza. Over the last ten years, IHA Softball has raised more than $100,000! Congratulations IHA softball, we are looking forward to another great season next year.
