Admissions Events

During the academic year, IHA can be found at various High School Information sessions that are sponsored by parishes, schools, and the Archdiocese of Newark. Members of the admissions team also make visits to local Catholic/private grammar schools during the academic day to speak to students about IHA and the high school admissions process.

Members of the Class of 2031 will take the English Placement Examination in February 2027. While students are taking the exam, parents will attend an information session in our Performing Arts Center. Students will also be able to purchase uniforms and meet with faculty and coaches on this day.

Rookie Camp is an optional two-day mini-orientation offered each year for incoming freshmen designed to acclimate our new Blue Eagles to IHA’s academic, social, and extracurricular experiences. We will focus on these themes while addressing common concerns and questions of incoming freshmen. Rookie Camp is a great opportunity to meet new classmates and make some new friends before beginning at IHA in the fall!

Class of 2030 Rookie Camp: June 15 and 16, 2026 (3:30 – 8:00 PM)

An online registration form will be sent to students. Once completed, please submit payment ($150 for two days, $75 for one day) by check. Checks must be made out to Immaculate Heart Academy and mailed to:
