Immaculate Heart Academy recognized students for exceptional academic achievement in French, Italian, and Spanish on February 25, 2026. The school hosted a World Languages Induction Ceremony for the French Honor Society, Italian Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society in the IHA gymnasium. 

The induction began with a candlelit procession of the inductees and opening remarks by Miss Kerry Carroll ’04, principal of IHA. The following executive board officers from all three honor societies then addressed the audience in their respective languages and inducted new members: Ellie Higgins ’27, president, and Daniela Ayala ’26, vice president, of the French Honor Society; Clara Byrnes ’26, president, and Elliott Daniels ’26, vice president, of the Italian Honor Society; and Gabrielle Rivera ’26, president, and Kathleen Brancato ’26, vice president, of the Spanish Honor Society.

Thank you to the executive board officers and the following teachers for all their work with these honor societies: Ms. Ana Echeverría P’05, moderator of the Spanish Honor Society; Mrs. Ester Gennarini, moderator of the Italian Honor Society; and Mrs. Eileen Ingoglia, moderator of the French Honor Society.
