Q2 National Honor Society Awards

Each quarter, IHA’s National Honor Society presents awards to students representing the four pillars of the society: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. For the second quarter of the 2025-26 academic year, congratulations are extended to the following seniors (standing left to right in group photo):

Character: Kenda El Feshawi — Kenda’s great sense of humor and bright personality light up any room she enters. She is always there for others and approaches every task and situation with a positive attitude. She acts as a role model to her peers and has a strong, positive impact on the IHA community. Kenda’s supportive nature and dedication to helping others truly exemplify the character valued at IHA.

Scholarship: Meghan Long — Meghan has proved herself time and time again to be a focused, successful, and driven student. She constantly raises the bar and serves as an inspiration for all IHA students. Taking pride in her work, she has earned countless outstanding academic achievements. Meghan’s time management skills help her handle her heavy workload. Her high grades in rigorous courses reflect her hard work and determination as a student.

Leadership: Samantha Grella — Samantha is an excellent example of leadership at IHA. She leads by example through hard work and dedication. She serves as a leader on the Varsity Basketball Team by being a strong communicator between the coaches and players, and represents the concerns of her teammates on and off the court. She carries the team to success and displays strength and consistency through her athletic abilities. Samantha is also a leader in the classroom, as she works hard in rigorous classes and consistently achieves success.

Service: Madeline Murphy — Madeline demonstrates a profound love for service that has grown throughout her time at IHA. From serving on her first Midnight Run freshman year, she has had an appreciation for serving others, most particularly through opportunities provided by IHA. She brings her best effort to all the service events that she participates in and ensures that each person feels included, loved, and as excited to serve as she is. Madeline is always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
