Midnight Run
Thirty-nine students attended a Midnight Run in New York City on November 7 to provide food, clothes, and conversations with individuals experiencing homelessness. This is the first of several Midnight Runs the students will participate in this school year.
The dedication to service at IHA is truly inspirational, as these students regularly give up their Friday evening and put their faith into action by ministering to people in need. Before they left for New York City, students participated in a prayer service to remind them that authentic service is rooted in the love of Christ and that we serve others because Christ calls us to.
Thank you to IHA Campus Ministry for coordinating this inspiring event, and to all of our chaperones, including Ms. Emily Ash ’19, director of campus ministry, Ms. Nicole Clermont, theology teacher, Ms. Brenda Meyer, comptroller, Mr. Rich Skinner, director of school safety and operations, and Mr. Michael Hamlett, school photographer.
