National Latin Exam Top Honors
IHA is thrilled to announce the outstanding results of our students on the prestigious 2026 National Latin Exam (NLE). Each spring, over 100,000 students from across the globe participate in this rigorous test, which covers not only Latin grammar and translation, but also Roman life, literature and mythology, history, derivatives, geography, and Latin in use in the modern world.
According to IHA Latin teacher Ms. Beverly Cardino, “We are extremely proud of all of our students. Competing against 100,000 students from all 50 states and over 20 countries, our dedicated students performed at the top of all test-takers. While many schools have given up on the classics, IHA realizes the importance of offering this language to our students to advance their understanding and appreciation for Latin’s vibrant impact on English and other world languages.”
