Q1 National Honor Society Awards
Each quarter, IHA’s National Honor Society presents awards to students representing the four pillars of the society: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. For the first quarter of the 2025-26 academic year, congratulations are extended to the following seniors (standing left to right in group photos):
Character: Samantha Sundlin — Samantha possesses a strong moral and ethical compass that guides her through life. She is always seen with a smile on her face, and she will do anything she can to brighten the days of everyone she encounters. She displays kindness, honesty, and selflessness everywhere she goes. She is the type of person to help others when no one is watching. No matter the challenge, Samantha will always be there for others and has a positive impact on the IHA community.
Scholarship: Danica Libanan — Danica has proven herself as a dedicated student, and her hard work is displayed throughout her outstanding achievements. She pays strict attention to detail, is always on top of her work, and succeeds in a rigorous course load with many advanced classes. Her brilliant scores reflect her continued commitment to intellectual growth. Her passion for learning has inspired both peers and teachers alike.
Leadership: Riley Cannon — Riley can always be seen leading various clubs at Immaculate Heart Academy and in her youth group. She is constantly striving to inspire and motivate others to do good. She brings a strong sense of community everywhere she goes and makes sure that everyone always feels welcome. She fosters a positive, productive, and collaborative environment. She is extremely dedicated to all that she does and calls others to do the same.
Service: Victoria Zalewski — Victoria is recognized for her dedication to the IHA community and continued passion to help others. Her consistent willingness to tutor and support her peers demonstrates the sisterhood that IHA is so proud of. We honor Victoria for her constant commitment to helping others learn and grow, as well as serving as a role model for others around her. She embodies the true meaning of service to others as she shares her time, knowledge, and talent with IHA through volunteerism and tutoring.
