The IHA Varsity Ski Team took a huge step forward in 2023-2024. The team was ranked fifth overall in the state, and landed a third place finish in Giant Slalom and Slalom at the State Championships. The Team was able to capture the Non-Public State Girls Championship title and was recognized as the Freedom League Girls Champions. The IHA Ski Team also had three athletes qualify for the Race of Champions, a competition that honors the top thirty athletes from the season. The team was led by Emily Magee ʼ24, Darcy Moore ʼ24, and Amelie Wilday ʼ24, who earned All-League Honors, in addition to Shelby Quiles ʼ26 who earned Honorable Mention. Emily Magee ‘24 also qualified for the NJ State Team which competed at the Eastern Regional High School Championships held in New Hampshire. The Junior Varsity Ski Team also had a great season, winning the JV State Championships!
