The purpose of Mock Trial is to present the students with the opportunity to study and participate in the legal system by the actual preparation and presentation of a mock trial. It enhances the students’ critical thinking and analytical skills in the areas of writing, reading, public speaking, and listening. It further gives students the opportunity to work on leadership skills as they work together as a team. Competition consists of cases presented at the Bergen County Court House in Hackensack.
