Mrs. Angie DeLima

Mrs. Angie DeLima teaches Italian as a member of the World Language Department at IHA. She earned a bachelor's degree in advertising and a minor in Italian studies from The University of Florida; a master's degree in Italian studies from Middlebury College and L'Università di Firenze in Florence, Italy; and a K-12 New Jersey teaching certification in Italian.
 
While living in the Middle East, Mrs. DeLima began the Italian Studies program at the American University of Dubai. She also lived in Italy for ten years, where she spent most of her years in the travel and tourism industry working for the luxury hotel group, The Four Seasons, as its learning and development manager. She also spent time working for the commercial sector at the American Consulate in Florence, Italy as a liaison for American companies looking to do business in Italy. Mrs. DeLima worked for six years at Pascack Valley and Pascack Hills high schools and also taught as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade Community College in Miami, Florida.
 
"I am excited to share my passion with my students, to offer a different point of view, to enrich their lives with culture, diversity, stories, art, history and everything else in between!" Mrs. DeLima said. "IHA is such a unique school and I feel very fortunate to be a part of the educational journey of these lovely young ladies."
