IHA Barnes & Noble Bookfair

IHA's Barnes & Noble Bookfair will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble at 765 Rt. 17 S. in Paramus.

Mongelli's and Miller's Last Bus Duty

Mrs. Lauretta Miller and Mrs. Lorraine Mongelli recently served their last Bus Duty EVER. We will miss these two terribly when they retire at the end of this school year!

IHA Arts Festival 2015

The IHA Arts Festival, held on April 30, 2015, was a culmination of all of the hard work and artistic achievements of the students involved in the fine and performing arts. Guests were given the opportunity to browse the work of artists of all grade levels before a beautiful concert with performances by the symphony orchestra, concert band, hand bell choir, Voices, and the IHA rock band.

White House Recognizes 59 IHA Students for Community Service

Immaculate Heart Academy has always been a school that has prided itself on young women with a commitment to living the Gospel message in the 21st Century. Year after year, IHA’s students spend countless hours giving of their time and talent at the service of the most vulnerable members of our society.

Photo Club Notecards

This year the IHA Photography Club held its second annual photo contest. The winning photographs are being printed as blank note cards to raise money for the IHA Financial Aid Fund in support of families in need here at IHA.

In Memory of Ms. Marilyn Rich

January 18, 1948 – March 2, 2015

Ms. Marilyn Rich began her career at IHA in September of 1969 after graduating from Rosemont College. At twenty-one years old, she was just a few years older than the seniors she taught.

St. Brigid Alumnae Career Panel

On March 26, 2015, the 55 sophomores of the St. Brigid Society heard from a career panel made up of six successful and inspiring alumnae.

IHA Alumnae Find Each Other Through Service

Cristina Perrotta'14 and Christeen Cox'12 recently traveled together on the APEX service trip from St. Joseph's University. Although they didn't know each other while students at IHA, they quickly bonded over their Alma Mater. Christeen approached Cristina after seeing she was wearing an IHA t-shirt...the rest is history!

Harpists to Visit/Perform at IHA

On April 13, 2015, IHA will welcome two world-renowned harpers to join us for the day. Gráinne Hambly of Ireland and William Jackson of Scotland, a married couple also known as "The Masters of Celtic Harp," will spend the day at Immaculate Heart Academy for an in-school field trip and evening concert.
