College Fair at IHA - March 31

IHA's College Fair will be held on March 31, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the IHA gymnasium. Please see the attached list of colleges and universities that will be attending.

Go4theGoal Spreading to Louisville

The University of Louisville basketball team will show their support of the Go4theGoal foundation by wearing yellow shoelaces during their game on March 27. The Go4theGoal organization, which brings awareness and raises money for the fight against pediatric cancer, has its roots at IHA.

IHA Alumnae Find Each Other Through Service

Cristina Perrotta'14 and Christeen Cox'12 recently traveled together on the APEX service trip from St. Joseph's University. Although they didn't know each other while students at IHA, they quickly bonded over their Alma Mater. Christeen approached Cristina after seeing she was wearing an IHA t-shirt...the rest is history!

Lily Polster'17 Raising Seeing Eye Dogs

Lily Polster’17 has been raising Seeing Eye® dogs for three years. She is presently raising her second dog, Jewel, a seven-month-old German shepherd. Lily’s first puppy was a female black lab named Fala who is currently receiving her formal training at The Seeing Eye, Inc. facility in Morristown.

Harpists to Visit/Perform at IHA

On April 13, 2015, IHA will welcome two world-renowned harpers to join us for the day. Gráinne Hambly of Ireland and William Jackson of Scotland, a married couple also known as "The Masters of Celtic Harp," will spend the day at Immaculate Heart Academy for an in-school field trip and evening concert.

IHA Students Document Visit to Cuba

Members of Immaculate Heart Academy’s Documentary Field Production class were recently given the educational opportunity of a lifetime. The ten IHA students traveled to Havana, Cuba to study and create a documentary on how Cuban life has been impacted by U.S. foreign policy and how Cubans feel about the changing relationships.
