Ms. Patrizia Tersigni, art teacher and Photography Club and Italian Culture Club moderator, has a B.A. degree in visual arts and education from Ramapo College and a M.A. degree in art education from Boston University. Ms. Tersigni has been a visual arts teacher for ten years, teaching in both the public and private sector. She is certified in both art K-12 and elementary education. She established the Photography Club six years ago at IHA, which gives students another opportunity to work creatively after school.
Ms. Tersigni, who has a daughter who is an alumna, said what she loves most about teaching at IHA is the strong sense of community among the faculty, staff, and students. "Immaculate Heart Academy works to guide young women to grow academically, spiritually, and morally. Teaching here gives me a daily breath of fresh air in my very busy world of teaching and raising three children. The faculty at IHA are among the most talented and are truly invested in their vocation as educators; I’m proud to be among them."
