General Description: Immaculate Heart Academy seeks a full-time Theology teacher beginning in September 2026. A degree in Theology or a related field, teaching experience, and teacher certification are preferred. This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive community. Specific Duties/Responsibilities: Duties will primarily include: planning and delivering high-quality lessons according to Immaculate Heart Academy’s Theology curriculum; providing constructive feedback and regular progress updates through formative and summative assessments; revising and collaborating on curricula updates; maintaining a safe classroom environment; participating in community engagement events; and overseeing study halls or cover periods. Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience (Preferred): Teaching experience in a secondary school setting and a degree in a related field are preferred.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods, as well as the capacity to lift and carry items.
Salary Range: $44,048 – $108,327
