IHA is Currently Seeking:
Mathematics Teacher
IHA is seeking a talented full-time high school mathematics teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. Teaching duties will primarily include Geometry and Geometry Honors courses. A degree in a math-related field, teaching experience in a secondary school setting, and certification are preferred.
 
Italian Teacher
IHA is seeking a talented full-time high school Italian teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. Teaching duties will primarily include Italian II and Italian III courses. A degree in Italian, teaching experience in a secondary school setting, and certification are preferred.
 
English Teacher
IHA is seeking a talented full-time high school English teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. Teaching duties will primarily include English I and English IV college preparatory courses. A degree in English, teaching experience in a secondary school setting, and certification are preferred.
 
English Teacher (Full-Year Maternity Coverage)
IHA is seeking a talented full-time high school English teacher for a maternity leave replacement for the 2021-2022 academic year. Teaching duties will primarily include 9th grade English college preparatory and honors courses. A degree in English, teaching experience in a secondary school setting, and certification are preferred.

Coordinator and Teacher of the Performing Arts
IHA is seeking a talented full-time high school Coordinator of the Performing Arts for the 2021-2022 academic year. Teaching duties will primarily include Theater Production, Theater Arts, Introduction to Acting, Musical Theater, and Chorus courses. Additional stipended responsibilities include: overseeing school musical, fall drama, winter cabaret, and Children's Theater production; serving as moderator for ITS; serving as moderator for Tri-M; serving as liaison with engineers to design lights and sounds for all productions; serving as moderator for Praise liturgical choir under the supervision of the Director for Formation; serving as moderator for choir program; training and supervising student volunteer TechCore; coordinating lighting and sound for all school events; and overseeing musical performances for special events. Teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
 
Immaculate Heart Academy offers an excellent college preparatory curriculum, extensive extracurricular opportunities, and a strong foundation in Catholic values and service. Advanced degree and understanding of/experience in Catholic single-sex education desirable.
