General Description: Immaculate Heart Academy seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment at the school. Candidates interested in the position should email a cover letter and resume to Mr. Jason Schlereth, president, at jschlereth@ihanj.com.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities: Duties will primarily include: mopping and vacuuming floors; cleaning restrooms and common areas; wiping down surfaces; emptying trash and recycling bins; restocking bathroom and kitchen supplies; locking facilities; performing minor maintenance of various systems; setting up/breaking down various events; receiving deliveries.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods, as well as the capacity to lift and carry items up to 100 pounds. This position requires grasping, reaching, and bending, and requires the physical ability to stand and walk for varying periods, respond to constant interruptions, and manage the stress and fatigue that can come with a busy environment.
Experience: Five years of custodial experience required. Experience in a secondary school setting preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
