Ms. Ana Echeverria

Ms. Ana Echeverria is a Spanish teacher, an AP coordinator, the Junior Class Advisor, and the Europe Trip moderator. She received a B.A. degree in secondary education and Spanish and a B.S. degree in elementary education from St. Thomas Aquinas College. She also received a M.Ed. degree in Spanish literature from Iona College and has 30 credits toward an advanced master's degree from Fordham University.

Ms. Echeverria has taught at IHA since 1991 and is also the mother to an IHA alumna, Class of 2005. She said she made a conscious decision to remain at IHA because of the "academic freedom to really teach." As a product of an all-girls Catholic school, she felt that IHA was and is "the ideal place to guide and watch minds grow and develop."
