College Application Process at IHA

The College Counseling Department recommends that all juniors take both the SAT and ACT at least once. After determining which test the student prefers, she should take that test a second time. Please keep in mind that every student's situation is different and may test at different times. If you have questions about when a student should be testing, please contact her College Counselor to determine the best timeline for her. Ideally, all testing should be completed by the end of junior year. Testing is available in the fall of senior year but can sometimes affect a student applying early action/early decision.
