IHA comes up big with Big North United victory

"The numbers say that Northern Highlands and Ridgewood are the best two girls cross-country teams in North Jersey and should finish 1-2 or 2-1 in the Bergen Group A championship Oct. 25 and at the Lou Molino Bergen Meet of Champions on Nov. 1.

But IHA standouts Colleen Buckley and Giavanna Tabbachino are not ready to concede that, and after Thursday’s performance at the Big North United Division championship at Darlington County Park, they might have a point."

Two IHA Athletes Commit to Colleges

Twenty-two IHA and 16 Bergen Catholic cross country athletes recently visited the Little Creek Naval Base, Virginia to train with the US Navy SEAL and SWCC Scout Team.

Steph Thomas'14 Named Gatorade Softball Player of the Year

The Gatorade Company, in collaboration with USA TODAY High School Sports, announced Steph Thomas of IHA as its 2013-14 Gatorade New Jersey Softball Player of the Year. Steph is the third Gatorade N.J. Softball Player of the Year to be chosen from IHA.
