Spring Arts Festival - Molly Offer Award Recipient - Education Raffle Winner

Also during the special evening celebrating The Arts @theheart, the Molly Offer Scholarship Award recipient was announced and the 2018 Education Raffle Winner was chosen!

An Art Show Reception hosted by the Parents' Club and the National Art Honor Society, was held in the main lobby at 6:30 p.m. The Art Show featured work from students in Introduction to Art, Art II, Advanced Painting and Drawing, 3-D Art, Digital Photography, Honors Studio, and AP Studio Art. The concert, featuring the IHA Orchestra, Praise, and Voices, began at 7 p.m. in the PAC.

The winning ticket of the IHA Education Raffle was drawn at the concert. Congratulations to this year's Education Raffle winner, Dan Shea, father of Jillian Shea'21! Thank you to all those who participate in this year's raffle; a total of 325 tickets were sold.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Rattazzi'19, this year’s recipient of the Molly Offer Memorial Scholarship Award. Every year at the Spring Arts Festival, a student is honored with this award, established by her family to honor their daughter and sister, Mary Ellen (Molly) Claire Offer. The youngest IHA alumna of five sisters, Molly was a member of the Class of 2006 and passed away on April 6, 2008.

Elizabeth is an active member of the National Art Honor Society, an activities coordinator for the Fashion Merchandising & Design Club, and a member of Praise and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Like Molly, she has a sister who is an IHA alumna. She has excelled in her art classes and, true to the spirit of the award, she is someone who is always willing to lend a hand.
