The Jersey City Columbus Day Parade, currently in its eighth year, celebrates the rich heritage of the Italian American culture in Jersey City. Janet is a first generation Italian American and is deeply committed to the preservation of the Italian-American heritage.

 

She says she was deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent her culture as Grand Marshal during the Parade. Janet was joined at the parade by fellow Immaculate Heart Academy alumnae, Christine Rocha Torntore’04, left, and Dr. Marian Farag’94, right.
