“Medical school has had its fair share of good days and bad, but having the opportunity to do all of our overnight calls with a fellow IHA-er has definitely made this arduous journey much more enjoyable,” Kirsten said. “As we approach our last year of medical school, I will be applying for a residency in anesthesia or internal medicine, and Alessandra will be applying for a residency in psychiatry or pediatrics.”
