Haley Thimmel’16 was named a Silver Key Award winner and Julie Kim’16 won an honorable mention award. Haley’s work was selected as part of the top 15% in the region. Her work, “Anatomical Study,” was created in conté crayon on black paper. Haley will be recognized for her work at an award ceremony and reception at Montclair Art Museum on February 18, 2016.
Julie’s work, entitled “Breaking Free,” won honorable mention in the sculpture category. It was selected as part of the top 25% in the region. A jury of professional artists, curators, and art educators reviewed more than 4,000 works of art submitted by more than 1,200 individual artists from across Northern New Jersey. Congratulations, ladies!
