Baccalaureate 2023

Thank you to Monsignor Ron Rozniak and the IHA staff who planned and participated in the beautiful Mass and to the IHA administration and Mrs. Liz Kearns P’05, ’08, ’11, senior class moderator, for honoring our seniors in such a special way.

“Your graduation ceremony tomorrow morning will end your days as an Immaculate Heart Academy student, but the legacy you have created through your sisterhood will never end,” said Mrs. Kearns. “These relationships you have made are permanent. Tomorrow, you officially become IHA alumnae. I hope you will always understand and continue to appreciate the great gift you have been given.”

Congratulations to this year’s graduates for their incredible contributions to IHA over the past four years. On the evening of the Baccalaureate, our valedictorian, Kate Menake ’23 (Northeastern University), and salutatorian, Johanna Murphy ’23 (Duke University), received medals to be worn on Graduation Day. Honors students were then recognized—nine with Distinguished Honors by maintaining an average of 95 or better for the year and seventy-nine with Honors by maintaining an average of 90 for the year. IHA Family Awards were presented to two families this year, given to families who have their last daughter of three or more graduating. Congratulations to:

Anthony Cali and Rosemary Cali, parents of Courtney ’12, Victoria ’15, Gabriella ’19, and Kristen ’23

Joseph Martino and Linda LaVoie-Martino ’87, parents of Anastasia ’08, Analisa ’21, and Anabella ’23
