NAHS artists sent out an email inviting faculty and staff members to share a place in the world where they find peace. Forty-four faculty and staff members responded and NAHS students began creating paintings based on their responses.
Both remote and in-person NAHS members were able to participate in this service project as a way to show their appreciation to teachers, administrators, and staff. The project culminated with an art show entitled Peaceful Places in the main lobby from May 11-28, 2021. IHA community members were able to add to the exhibit by sharing where they find peace in the world on a display panel entitled Peace Be with You. The collaborating teachers and staff received the paintings as a gift at the conclusion of the show.
