IHA Remains Closed

A Note from IHA's President

Dear IHA Community,
My prayer is that you and your families are well and navigating this challenge with hope. As a community of faith, we know that each of us can support those around us with confidence that God is always with us.

Immaculate Heart Academy is well prepared for academic progress even though we have closed the school building. Our Continuation of Learning plan has been successfully enabling students to continue their classwork and even some activities without interruption. Our laptop program, begun over fifteen years ago, is working well, and our faculty is doing a fantastic job in making the online experience both positive and exciting. Our principal, Mr. Jason Schlereth, is doing an outstanding job planning and coordinating every aspect of the daily operation of the school. I cannot express how proud I am of the fabulous response to this challenge. We are truly blessed with a generous and talented staff.
All of us here at IHA are available remotely. You can check up with the Alumnae Engagement Office by emailing Mrs. Beth DiCiancia Garrigan'76 at Our fundraising contact is Mrs. Angelique Morelli at You can reach our director of admissions, Ms. Alexis Fatigati'07, at In addition, the IHA website and social media pages are excellent sources of updated information. Please follow us on Facebook (Immaculate Heart Academy) and Instagram (@attheheart) and contact director of communications, Mrs. Tara Hopfenspirger, at with information you'd like to share with the IHA community.
We have pledged to our students, especially our current seniors, that we will do everything possible to make their last year at IHA a memorable one. We are a community of faith, a community of sisters. We are women of courage, competence, compassion, and confidence. We look to Mary, to her Immaculate Heart, to strengthen us and to keep us focused on the really important things in life.
Most Sincerely,
Pat Molloy
