Guest speaker, Melissa Vaccari, Ph.D. in psychology, will be presenting at IHA on Oct 18, 2018. Dr. Vaccari is part of the Child Study Team at the NYU Langone Children's Center. Her topic will be "Concussions and their Aftermath."

Over the past few years, we have had more students with problems resulting from concussions that they have sustained through a sport or personal injury. We hope that this presentation will help you understand more of what an adolescent goes through after sustaining a concussion.
