On April 6, 2022, therapy dogs visited IHA during both lunch periods to help students relieve stress and give them a mental and emotional rest. Thank you to Ms. Ellen Donoghue’76, guidance counselor, for coordinating the visits from the Bright and Beautiful pairs, Leo and his owner, Susan Smith; CJ and her owner, Karen Koehler; and Crusader and his owner, Gina O’Rourke P’15. On May 11, 2022, we had another visit from the Bright and Beautiful therapy dogs, in addition to one pair from the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. We welcomed Crusader and his owner, Gina O’Rourke P’15; Molly and her owner, Linda Valentini P’04; Yankee and his owner, Dotty LoRusso P’04; Maddy and her owner, Dr. Mike Philbin; Charlie and his owner, Pam Marzano; and Alliance of Therapy Dogs’ Deegan and his owner, Linda Rupinski.
