Ms. Regina Garvey '19 is a science teacher at IHA. Ms. Garvey earned a B.A. degree from New York University and has completed two years of research in supramolecular polymer chemistry with the Weck Research Group at NYU. She also has five years of experience in patient care as an EMT, and is currently studying surgical treatment options for lung cancer with Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.

 

"I'm very excited to return to an educational environment with a strong sense of community," Ms. Garvey said. "I hope to encourage my students to pursue science and medicine, just as many IHA teachers and alumnae encouraged me!"
