Welcome

Kelly Tweed

Dear IHA Alumnae,

For more than 55 years, IHA has continued its mission of educating and empowering young women. The Class of 2017 will bring us to more than 10,000 graduates who have walked through these hallowed halls and experienced the traditions that hold true throughout the history of our school. As a proud alumna from the Class of 1976, as well as a past parent and director of alumnae relations, I am honored to be in the company of accomplished and talented women who are making a difference in our world today.

I'd like to point out that Reunion Weekend is a wonderful time to come back and reconnect with friends and classmates, while taking in all of the upgrades and changes to our facilities. Please note that although the campus has undergone renovations, the spirit of Immaculate Heart Academy has remained intact, and the singing of the Alma Mater can still be heard at assemblies, special occasions, after athletic events, and weekly during Alma Mater A-Day announcements.

For those of you who are unable to make it back to New Jersey to visit IHA, the Traveling Plaid has been making its way across the country and is sure to hit a city near you. Come by and meet new IHA friends, while hearing about the latest happenings at our outstanding school. If you are interested in hosting or assisting in planning a Traveling Plaid event, please contact me.

Finally, please keep your information current so we may continue to reach you. Our social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram are great tools to stay in touch. Please let me know how we can improve our alumnae relations, as I will always welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

As always, “Let us go forward with courage to do, all that is noble and loyal and true."

Warm Regards,

Beth DiCiancia Garrigan'76
