In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Immaculate Heart Academy’s Spanish and Latin American Club and National Art Honor Society hosted a Frida Kahlo Art Exhibit this fall in IHA’s main lobby. Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized from September 15 to October 15 each year. On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the two IHA groups celebrated after school with music played by Lauren Grae’23, cake and other refreshments, and “Frida Trivia” to win prizes. They also hung large tapestries with Frida Kahlo artwork along with quotes and facts about her.
