IHA’s Spring Arts Festival was held the week of May 3, 2021. Senior artists in 3-D Art, Design, Digital Photography, Honors Studio, and AP Studio Art displayed their beautiful artwork in the main lobby in a special exhibition entitled Class of 2021 – We Shine Brighter Together. Students in both Honors Studio and AP Studio Art hosted impressive individual senior shows. At the conclusion of the Spring Arts Festival celebration on May 7, 2021, the pre-recorded Spring Concert was sent to current students, parents, and faculty. From June 4-11, 2021, the IHA Art Department proudly presented the work of second semester artists in grades 9 to 11 in the main lobby. Students in Art I, Art II, 3-D Art, and Digital Photography exhibited their work. This year, artists rose to the challenge of working on their art while being both remote and in the art studio to produce some really fine work! An Artists’ Reception for exhibiting artists was held during classes on Friday, June 4, 2021. Additionally, it has become tradition for The Mary Ellen Offer Memorial Award to be presented at IHA’s Spring Arts Festival & Concert. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, Grace Capeless’22!
