Milena's article, entitled "To Teach or Not to Teach: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," is also being considered for publication in Teen Ink!'s print edition.

The essay was originally written as an assignment for Dr. Sue Kenney's class, where she asked students to write their opinions on whether or not Huck Finn should continue to be taught in schools. The assignment was based on an article written by Rebekah Shoaf entitled "Why I Wouldn’t Teach Huck Finn Anymore: Course Design as a Sociopolitical Act," which was shared on the NCTE website.
