Mrs. Rocio Vera is the World Language Department chairperson and a Spanish teacher at IHA. She is also moderator of the Marine Biology Club.

Mrs. Vera received a teaching degree from Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte and an M.Ed. degree from Universidad De Las Américas, both in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

She has worked at IHA for more than 20 years and is a proud mom to an IHA alumna, Class of 2014.
