IHA has proudly introduced the accelerated STEM program for academically qualified students. STEM@theheart includes more than just the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and math. The program's core focuses on the four C's: communication, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
With IHA's liberal arts education and commitment to Christian values, STEM students use world language, social studies, language arts, and science to understand the world they live in; math and technology to harness, chronicle, and make sense of that information; and critical thinking skills to engineer solutions for the betterment of the human experience.

Those interested in applying for the STEM program can check the appropriate box on the general IHA Admissions Application. STEM applicants will be prompted through the application program and told what else needs to be submitted to apply for STEM, including a letter of recommendation from their eighth-grade math and science teachers.
