The IHA Ice Hockey Team had another solid showing in the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 11-4. The team finished third in the top division of New Jersey Girls High School Hockey and beat every team during the regular season at least once, only losing matchups to Princeton Day School.
In the first round of the State Championship playoffs, the team beat Hoboken by a score of 4-0. Madison Graves ’28 recorded a playoff shutout. The semifinal marked the final game against Princeton Day School, and this time, IHA found a way to win. Delaney Cozine ’27 scored two goals, and Madison Graves ’28 performed another stellar game in net, paving the way to the third consecutive trip to the Prudential Center.
IHA beat Morristown Beard in the state final game 3-1, with Julia Bussanich ’29 scoring the first goal of the game and Delaney Cozine ’27 once again scoring two goals to win IHA’s first-ever State Championship. Madison Graves ’28 saved 31 of the 32 shots she faced and received the Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau MVP Award for her efforts. Congratulations to IHA Ice Hockey on a truly incredible season!
